These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SgTow customer application, the SgTow Partners driver application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

  • “SgTow”, “we”, “us”, “our”: the operator of the Platform.
  • “Customer”, “you”: a user requesting roadside assistance/towing services through the Platform.
  • “Partner”, “Driver”: independent service providers who may accept jobs via the Platform.
  • “Job”: a service request posted by a Customer and accepted by a Partner.
  • “Quote”: a price offered by a Partner for a Job based on the information provided.

2. What SgTow Provides

SgTow provides a technology platform to connect Customers with Partners. SgTow does not operate a towing fleet and does not itself provide towing/roadside assistance services. Services are provided by Partners.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account (including phone number). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or Platform rules.

4. Using the Platform

4.1 Customer responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate Job details, including (where applicable):

  • pickup location details (e.g., carpark, lot number, unit number),
  • destination area,
  • vehicle details,
  • whether an accident is involved,
  • whether the vehicle is in a multi-level/basement/secured location and entry clearance,
  • any required services.

Providing incomplete or incorrect information may affect service availability, timing, and pricing.

4.2 Partner responsibilities

Partners must comply with applicable laws and regulations, maintain required licenses/permits, and provide services in a professional and safe manner.

5. Quotes, Pricing & Adjustments

5.1 Quotes

Partners may send a Quote after reviewing the Job information. Customers may accept or decline a Quote.

5.2 Is the Quote the final price?

In general, the accepted Quote is intended to be the final price for the Job based on the details provided by the Customer.

However, additional charges may apply only if one or more of the following occurs:

  • the Customer’s Job details were incomplete or inaccurate (e.g., secured location, basement access, height clearance, special access restrictions),
  • the on-site conditions materially differ from what was described in the Job,
  • additional services are requested on-site beyond what was included in the Job.

5.3 Confirmation for any additional charges

If additional charges may apply, the Partner must clearly explain the reason and the amount and obtain Customer confirmation before proceeding (where reasonably practicable). Customers may choose not to proceed if they do not agree to the adjusted price.

6. Cancellations

SgTow currently does not charge a cancellation fee.

A Job may be cancelled if it has not been completed. However, repeated cancellations or misuse may result in account restrictions.

7. Service Quality, Safety & Disputes

Partners are responsible for the performance and quality of services. If you have a service issue, please contact support and provide:

  • Job time/date,
  • vehicle plate (if available),
  • Partner name (if available),
  • a short description of the issue.

We may help facilitate communication, but SgTow is not responsible for the service performance provided by Partners.

8. Location & Permissions

The Platform may require access to location services to:

  • match Customers with nearby Partners,
  • support navigation and job status updates,
  • improve operational reliability and safety.

You can manage permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work properly without required permissions.

9. Communications

You agree that we and/or Partners may contact you via in-app notifications, phone, or other channels for Job-related communications (e.g., confirmation, arrival, service updates, support). Marketing communications (if any) will follow applicable laws and your preferences.

10. Prohibited Use

You must not:

  • use the Platform for unlawful purposes,
  • harass, threaten, or abuse others,
  • submit false or misleading Job requests,
  • attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the Platform,
  • misuse Partner information.

11. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Platform (software, brand, logos, UI) belong to SgTow or licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee:

  • Partner availability,
  • uninterrupted operation,
  • that all Jobs will receive Quotes or be fulfilled within a specific time.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SgTow is not liable for:

  • service performance issues by Partners,
  • indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages,
  • loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SgTow from claims arising out of:

  • your misuse of the Platform,
  • your violation of these Terms,
  • disputes between Customers and Partners.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be effective when published on our website or within the Platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be handled in Singapore courts, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
